The Huron River Review, Washtenaw Community College’s award-winning literary magazine, is an annual hard-copy publication featuring poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and visual art by WCC students, faculty, and staff.

It is open to submissions from September through January and publishes in the spring.

The first issue of The HRR appeared in 2002. Over the years, it has published work by more than 400 different people.

Tom Zimmerman, an English instructor at WCC, has served as The HRR‘s editor/faculty advisor since the magazine’s inception.
